Billing and Pricing Plans

The 4phone billing system tracks tenant resource consumption, manages pricing plans, and generates invoices. Each tenant has its own balance, active plan, and billing period.

Billing overview

The main billing page displays:

  1. Balance: current account balance. A negative balance indicates an outstanding amount due.
  2. Pricing plan: the name of the current plan and account status.
  3. Billing period: start and end dates of the current billing cycle.

Usage by feature

The system automatically tracks consumption across each category:

  1. Extensions: number of active internal extensions.
  2. SIP trunks: number of active trunks.
  3. Queues: number of active call queues.
  4. DID numbers: number of connected inbound phone numbers.
  5. Voice minutes: total call duration.
  6. Webhook deliveries: number of webhook notifications sent.
  7. Email deliveries: number of email notifications sent.
  8. Recording minutes: total duration of stored call recordings.
  9. IVR flows: number of active IVR scenarios.
  10. Storage: storage space used in GB.
  11. API requests: number of API calls made.
  12. Monitoring: number of active monitors, checks, and alert calls.

For each metric, the dashboard shows:

  1. current consumption;
  2. allowance included in the plan (if applicable);
  3. percentage of the allowance used.

Some resources are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis without a fixed limit.

Important

The "Synchronize" button refreshes usage metrics. Usage data is normally synchronized automatically, but you can trigger a manual refresh whenever needed.

Pricing plans

Available plans are listed under Billing → Plans.

A plan may include:

  1. the cost per active extension;
  2. fixed monthly resources — base subscription, extension recording, trunks, DID numbers, queues, IVR, monitoring, and Telegram reports;
  3. usage-based metrics — voice traffic, deliveries, auto-dialer, monitoring checks, transcription, and other counters;
  4. resource allowances included in the plan and the overage rate per unit above the limit.

Changing your plan

  1. Open the Plans section.
  2. Select the desired plan.
  3. Confirm the change.
  4. Your previous subscription ends, the new plan becomes active, and its terms apply to subsequent charges.

Plan changes are recorded in the audit log.

Invoices

The "Invoices" section displays your billing history:

  1. issue date;
  2. billing period;
  3. line items and billed metrics;
  4. total amount;
  5. due date;
  6. status: ISSUED, PAID, OVERDUE, or VOID.

An invoice is marked as paid automatically when you top up your balance to cover the outstanding amount. If a payment is refunded by the payment provider, the refunded amount is deducted from the balance and the uncovered invoice reverts to the "Issued" or "Overdue" status.

PREPAID vs. POSTPAID

In PREPAID mode, a negative balance can immediately trigger an automatic financial suspension.

In POSTPAID mode, issuing an invoice does not interrupt service. Restrictions are applied only after the due date passes if the invoice becomes overdue and no grace period is active.

Topping up your balance

The dashboard provides a unified selection of payment methods:

  • Payme;
  • Click;
  • Uzum Bank;
  • Anorbank;
  • Alif;
  • Oson;
  • Xazna;
  • Beepul;
  • Trastpay;
  • SBP.

Balance top-ups are available to the OWNER, ADMIN, and MANAGER roles. The minimum top-up amount is 1,000 UZS.

How to top up your balance

  1. Open the "Payment" section.
  2. Enter the amount in UZS or select a preset value.
  3. Choose a payment app.
  4. Click "Proceed to payment".
  5. Complete the transaction on the selected provider's secure checkout page.

After returning to the dashboard, the transaction initially appears as submitted for processing. Returning from the payment app alone does not mean the funds have been credited yet. Your balance updates once the payment provider confirms the transaction, which typically takes up to 1–2 minutes.

Important

If a payment method is temporarily unavailable, its card remains visible but cannot be selected. Other payment methods continue to work normally.

Top-up history

The payment history displays:

  1. date and amount;
  2. selected payment method;
  3. current status;
  4. external transaction ID;
  5. link to the fiscal receipt, once available.

Possible statuses: "Pending", "Processing", "Crediting", "Paid", "Failed", "Refunded", and "Expired".

If a payment is canceled or left incomplete, you can retry or select a different payment app. Each attempt creates a separate transaction record in the history. Duplicate confirmations for the same transaction will not credit the balance twice.

If a payment is refunded through the payment provider, the refund amount is deducted from your balance and the transaction status changes to "Refunded".

Add-on features

The Billing → Add-ons section offers a catalog of optional paid features.

When activating an add-on:

  1. the system checks that your balance has sufficient funds;
  2. if funds are insufficient, activation is declined;
  3. upon successful activation, the add-on fee is deducted and the next renewal date is scheduled.

If your balance is insufficient on the monthly renewal date, the add-on temporarily enters a pending state until the balance is topped up.

Usage details

The "Usage" section provides a detailed breakdown of resource consumption for the current and previous billing periods.

At the end of each billing period, overage charges for resources consumed beyond the plan's included allowances are calculated and an itemized invoice is generated.

Billing management checklist
  1. check your balance and usage regularly;
  2. monitor metrics approaching their included limits;
  3. plan upgrades before exceeding plan allowances;
  4. review invoices from previous billing periods.
